Fancy clobbering your enemies instead of shooting them? Then you’ll need to unlock the Sledgehammer in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, and I’m here to tell you how to do it.
The Sledgehammer was introduced in the MW3 and Warzone Season 4 Reloaded patch, adding another interesting melee weapon to the game. You’ll not be able to take down anyone at long range with this one, but if you’re close enough, swing this and send them packing.

How to get the Sledgehammer in MW3 and Warzone
To unlock the Sledgehammer, you’ll need to complete any five of MW3 and Warzone‘s Week 5 challenges. The good news is that you don’t need to complete all five in the same mode, so you can pick and choose across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Battle Royale to find the ones you think will be easiest for you.
We’ve listed the full challenges below.

| Get 10 Operator Kills with the Gun-Butt of a Recommended Weapon | Get 75 Kills with the Gun-Butt of a Recommended Weapon | In Warzone Fortune’s Keep, get 10 Operator Kills in the East |
| Get 15 Operator One Shot, One Kills with Recommended Shotguns | Get 250 One Shot, One Kills with a Pack-A-Punched Recommended Shotgun | In Warzone, place in the top 10 five times |
| Get 12 Operator Kills with Claymores, Proximity Mines, or C4 | Get 75 Kills with Claymores, Proximity Mines, or C4 | In Warzone, open 50 Loot Caches |
| Perform three Finishing Moves on Enemy Operators | Perform five Finishing Moves on Mercs | In Warzone Fortune’s Keep, get 10 Operator Kills in the West |
| Get three Operator Melee Double Kills | Get 10 Kills without being hit 20 times with a Recommended Melee Weapon | In Warzone Fortune’s Keep, get 10 Operator Kills in the South |
| Get two Operator Fury Kills with a Recommended Weapon | Get five Rapid Kills 30 times with a Recommended Assault Rifle | In Warzone, complete 10 Contracts |
Once you’ve completed five challenges, the Sledgehammer will be unlocked, and you can add it to any of your loadouts.
